Islamabad Police and Pakistan Rangers in a joint operation on Friday arrested 12 suspects from pats of Koral area.
According to a police spokesman, the search operation was conducted in areas of Ali Pur, Tramry and Ghouri Town under the supervision of the station house officer of the Koral police station.
The law enforcers searched a total of 80 houses and nabbed 12 suspects. Ten litres of wine was also seized from them.
SSP Sajid Kiani said the purpose of this search operation and high vigilance was to ensure foolproof security in the city. He further directed all SHOs to continue the operation. He also appealed to the citizens to remain vigilant and inform the police in case of any suspicious activity around them.
