A prayer leader was killed when his junior opened fire at him in Karak area on Friday.
According to details, the junior cleric opened fire inside the mosque over a dispute on leading Friday prayers.
When Maulana Imran started Friday sermon, his junior cleric Hafiz Shakir stopped him and said he would lead the prayers instead. Shakir opened fire at Imran for not leaving the sermon desk.
Two other people were also injured in the firing while Maulana Imran died on the spot. The shooter escaped along with his accomplices leaving two motorbikes and a car behind. The accused was reportedly still at large.
