A spokesman of the Punjab government Wednesday termed the media reports regarding summoning of Rangers in Punjab to conduct operation against the terrorists and extremists as concocted.
“No decision has been made yet to summon Rangers in Punjab,” the spokesman said, adding that the reports in this regard were concocted.” He added that the Counter Terrorism Department and police are successfully coping with terrorists and their facilitators as the operation against them is underway in full swing.
A large number of most wanted terrorists have been culminated and hundreds of others have been arrested as a result of the operation, he maintained.
