PPP will continue struggle for Kashmiris’ rights: Bilawal

Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has reiterated that his party’s commitment to the legitimate cause and aspirations of the people of Kashmir.

The Kashmir Solidarity Day was declared by former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto nearly four decades back to give fillip to the issue at international level and highlight the genuine right of self-determination to the people of Kashmir and seek diplomatic support for the emancipation of Kashmiris.

Bilawal Bhutto said he was fully aware of his responsibilities as chairman of the PPP, whose founder declared February 05 as Kashmir Solidarity Day.

“To my Kashmiri brothers and sisters, I shall tell that third generation of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto is dedicated to their cause as vigorously as he and his daughter Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto had been,” the PPP chairman said in his message on the Kashmir Solidarity Day.

The PPP chairman said that he, Pakistan People’s Party, and the people of Pakistan would continue struggle for Kashmiri’s rights to plebiscite leading to freedom from Indian yoke. He said diplomatic and moral support for the Kashmiris would continue for their fundamental right to self-determination. Bilawal Bhutto said that the PPP stood for a peaceful and honourable resolution of seven-decade old dispute of Jammu & Kashmir in accordance with the aspiration of people of disputed valley.
