Nepotism has been revealed in the Prime Minister’s National Health Program (NHP).
Health cards have been issued to hundreds of non-deserving people and government employees, Online has learnt.
According to information received by Online, PM Nawaz Sharif launched NHP for poor, needy people to provide them free and quality healthcare facilities and assigned a task to six officials for making this program transparent.
Out of these six officials, two were deputed in PM house as both were close aides of PM but the cheating and fraud has not only made this program disputed but defamed the slogan of transparency made by the government.
Sources told Online that hundreds of government employees got health cards in the name of their family members, who were already entitled in well-reputed hospitals and their families were given free of cost medical facilities.
These government employees received heavy amount for treatment carried out on their cards.
Online, contacted the spokesperson of PM house who did not respond.
