Federal Minister for Defence, Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that the anti terrorism operation by the Pakistan Army will continue till the elimination of every terrorist in the country, adding that this operation will go to its logical end.
He said government is committed to weed out terrorism from Pakistan, as the armed forces of Pakistan had been playing their excellent role in uprooting militancy, insurgency and terrorism from the country.
He said this while addressing a meeting of local elected representatives and party workers here at Sialkot on Sunday. He said the PML-N government was committed to weeding out terrorism from the country. He said operation Zarb-e-Azb was achieving its goals and meeting with great success.
He said the whole nation stands united against terrorism and is ready to sacrifice even their lives while battling against it, shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces of Pakistan.
He said Pakistan had always played a frontline role against terrorism and militancy besides sacrificing a lot for the elimination of terrorism and establishment of durable peace.
Earlier, while addressing the participants of an Open Kutchery held at PML-N House Paris Road Sialkot City here Sunday, Khawaja Asif said that the PML-N government was making all out sincere efforts to raise the living standard of the people by ensuring the easy and smooth provision of all basic facilities at their doorsteps.
He said PML-N was gradually fulfilling its all the political promises in the larger national interest, besides, doing the politics of the principles and ignoring its all the personal political gains.
He listened to the complaints and problems of the people sympathetically and issued orders on various applications to provide relief to the applicants. Local MPAs Chaudhry Muhammad Ikram, Rana Liaqat Ali, Mansha Ullah Butt, Shabeena Majeed Wyne and local PML-N leaders were also present on the occasion.
