The Supreme Court (SC) has rejected a plea seeking the inclusion of former president Pervez Musharraf, former Punjab chief minister Pervez Elahi and late Lt Gen (r) Hamid Gull as accused in Benazir Bhutto’s assassination case.
Advocate Kalsoom Khaliq filed the petition.
Acting Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar heard the petition in his chamber on Thursday.
He said that the petitioner had no locus standi to file the petition as she neither was the aggrieved party nor was she linked to it in anyway.
“You can resort to any proper forum if you will,” he remarked and dismissed the petition.
Right action of the Apex Court. These 'anyone' type of people only waste the courts' time for cheap publicity. No point in whipping a dead horse.
