At least 131 suspects, including illegal Afghan immigrants, were arrested during search operations in different areas of the provincial capital on Sunday.
On tip-offs regarding presence of outlaws, police conducted search operations in Qazi Kaley, Sarbulandpura, Mohallah Islampura, Hashtnagri and Karkhano Markets localities of the city and apprehended some 131 suspects, including 46 illegal Afghan immigrants, with eight short machine guns (SMGs), seven pistols, six rifles and hundreds of rounds.
