At least two policemen inured when unidentified miscreants attacked a police check post on Sunday. The attackers also took away official weapons.
Police said that unknown armed men stormed a police check post established in Tando Mir Ali of taluka Tharimirwah in district Khairpur and injured two cops. The assailants also took away official weapons from the policemen deployed on the check post.
The injured cops Bakhat Ali Mashuari and Majid Ali Bhambhan were shifted to a hospital for treatment. Heavy contingent of police cordoned off the area after the attack and launched a search operation.
