A local court on Wednesday acquitted three accused, Omer, Ameer Muhammad and Qamar Zaman, involved in a gang-rape.
Judicial Magistrate Zaib Shahzad Cheema passed the order on basis of police discharge report.
The Race Course police had requested the court to discharge the names of the accused from the case as the victim girl did not hold them guilty in her statement before a judicial magistrate.
Meanwhile, District and Sessions Judge Najaf Shahzadi reserved the verdict on bail application of accused Imran, Haris Aslam and Bilawal Mir involved in another gang-rape case after hearing detailed arguments of both the parties.
The Race Course police had registered gang rape case against the said accused who allegedly raped an 8th class student at a Mall Road guesthouse.
