Sindh Advisor for Information Moula Bakhsh Chandio said on Tuesday that 10 military courts would start their work in few weeks while safe houses would be established for witnesses’ protection.
While addressing a press conference on Tuesday, the information advisor said that so far 25 cases had been referred to the military courts including that of Khalid Mehmood Soomro’s murder. However, he said there was a court’s stay on Khalid Mehmood’s case and efforts were being made for its withdrawal. He said a force had also being raised for protection of witnesses. Chandio said approval had been solicited for formation of committees on district level to create religious harmony.
