Sindh Rangers Director General (DG) Major General Bilal Akbar on Friday assured that the operation against criminals would continue until a lasting peace was achieved in the city.
The DG Rangers said in addition to terrorists, a plan to curb street crime in the provincial capital had also been prepared. Akbar informed that strict action shall be taken against petty criminals as well as dacoits, robbers, looters and car thieves. The DG expressed that the situation in Karachi was gradually improving with each passing day. He further added that ‘Zarb-e-Azb’ and the operation in Karachi would continue indiscriminately. The DG Rangers comments come at a time when the noose around criminal elements and miscreants spreading instability in Karachi is being tightened even further.
