New Zealand opt to bowl in first T20 against Pakistan

The first Twenty20 begins today at Eden Park between New Zealand and Pakistan.

New Zealand won the toss and decided to put Pakistan in to bat in 

Teams:

New Zealand: Kane Williamson (capt), Martin Guptill, Colin Munro, Corey Anderson, Tom Latham, Grant Elliott, Luke Ronchi (wk), Todd Astle, Matt Henry, Mitchell McClenaghan and Trent Boult.

Pakistan:  Ahmed Shehzad, Mohammad Hafeez, Sohaib Maqsood, Shoaib Malik, Umar Akmal, Sarfraz Ahmed (wk), Shahid Afridi (capt), Imad Wasim, Anwar Ali, Umar Gul, Wahab Riaz and Mohammad Amir.

Fast bowler Mohammad Amir is playinh his first international match after a five-year ban over spot-fixing.

With Wahab Riaz and Umar Gul ready for pace attack, skipper Shahid Afridi is confident today’s match will be a good one.
