Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousaf said on Tuesday that uniform prayer timing system would soon be implemented across the country.
Addressing an Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH) Conference arranged by the Employees Union of Capital Development Authority, the minister said that a committee of Ulema from different schools of thought had been constituted to devise a strategy for implementing uniform prayer timing system.
The minister said he would soon meet with the provincial chief ministers for implementing uniform prayer timing system across the country. He also exhorted office-bearers of trade unions to help in implementing uniform prayer system.
