The alleged mastermind of illegal recruitments in the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB), Assistant Data Controller Officer Imran Arif Janjua, has assumed two additional charges.
According to details, Imran Arif Janjua has assumed the charge of Evacuee Trust Property Board deputy administrator zonal officer and deputy administrator district. Sources said that people linked with land mafia used to visit his office. He has also appointed people close to him as staff in his office, sources added.
Imran Arif got a promotion in a short period after his interaction with former Evacuee Trust Property Board chairman Syed Asif Hashmi.
He was appointed as computer operator BPS-12 initially and was promoted to BPS- 16 and then BPS-17 in a short period. Sources said that a probe was launched into the illegal appointments but the official put the process aside.
A senior official of the Evacuee Trust Property Board has sent an application to the Evacuee Trust Property Board and National Accountability Bureau (NAB) along with evidence regarding irregularities.
