In a drive against anti-social elements, the police claimed to have arrested 19 criminals besides recovering drugs and illegal weapons from their possession here on Saturday.
According to police, police conducted raids at various locations of the district and arrested three drug peddlers and three illegal weapon holders and recovered 41 litre liquor, a pistol and three bullets from their possession.
Police have also apprehended 13 proclaimed offenders wanted by police in different cases of dacoity, robbery, theft and other crimes.
Cases have been registered against the accused.
