The Deputy Crown Prince and Minister for Defence of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mohammad bin Salman Al Saud will visit Pakistan on Sunday.

According to the official sources on Friday, Minister of Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif would receive the guest on his arrival at Nur Khan Base.

Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Bin Ahmed al Jubeir visited Pakistan on Thursday and held meetings with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Army Chief General Raheel Sharif and Foreign Advisor Sartaj Aziz.

During his meeting with army chief, the ISPR statement said, both the dignitaries exchanged views on regional security. Later, Jubeir called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to discuss a host of issues ranging from bilateral relations and the 34-nation coalition against terrorism.

The visits come at a time when the Kingdom is engaged in a diplomatic row with Iran after its embassy was ransacked in Tehran following the execution of Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr.

Pakistan has expressed concerns over the escalations in tensions between the two brotherly Muslim countries, urging Riyadh and Tehran to show restraint.
