IGP inaugurates Police Service Centre

Inspector General of Police Punjab Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhaira Friday inaugurated second Police Service Center here at Moon Market to facilitate the public.

Speaking on the occasion, the IGP appreciated the services of CCPO Lahore and specially DIG Operations Dr Haider Ashraf which they are rendering to facilitate the general public besides maintenance of law and order.

He said target of establishing 10 service centres in the city would be completed very soon which would be replicated across Punjab so that relief could be provided to people across the province.

DIG Operations Dr Haider Ashraf told the IGP that public could avail a facility of more than 10 different police services, including receiving a copy of FIR, learner driving licence, its renewal, duplication of licence, international driving licence, character certificate, police verification, reports of the lost documents specially ID card.

These licences will be delivered at their residences through this service centre. He told that people could also get the legal opinion regarding the procedure of any kind of police service.

Lodging of vehicle theft report and verification of domestic servants before their hiring could be achieved through these service centres.

Answering questions of the media persons, the IGP said there was no existence of Daesh , adding that all law enforcement agencies were equally vigilant and monitoring the situation.

DCO Lahore Muhammad Usman, CCPO Lahore Muhammad Amin Vains and other senior police officers were also present.
