A district and sessions court in Rawalpindi on Wednesday indicted television actor Mishi Khan in a case related to allegedly swindling money from a homeopathic lady doctor.
According to reports, civil judge Kashif Javed indicted the actor for criminal breach of trust; however, Khan denied all charges against her.
Khan was booked by the New Town police in July last year for allegedly swindling money from homeopathic lady doctor Afshan Khan to run the advertisement campaign of her clinic and beauty salon and not keeping her end of the bargain.
Last month, the court had ordered the police to submit a charge-sheet against the suspect on the next hearing of the case. Khan’s counsel had argued before the court that the petitioner has changed her counsel twice and the bail plea was being deliberately delayed.
