The presence of another group of women working for militant Islamic State (IS) group in Karachi has been revealed by arrested terrorist Kamran Gujjar during investigation.

According to media reports on Monday, the suspected terrorist, who belongs to Punjab, told his investigators that his wife and sister-in-law were working for Daesh (an Arabic acronym for IS). Both the women were expert in brainwashing (of their targets) and they were collecting funds for the terrorist organization in the name of a welfare organization.

Kamran also revealed that several other women had also joined their group.

After these revelations, security agencies have started conducting raids in different parts of the metropolis to arrest members of the group.

It may be added that the Karachi police had revealed last month (December 2015) that a 20-member group of female IS supporters was active in Karachi.

On Sunday, Umar Kathiwer, Sindh Islamic State (IS) head, was arrested. He was involved in the Safoora bus carnage and other terror incidents. He was arrested on the information provided by the bus attack suspect Saad Aziz.

Sources revealed that Umar Kathiwer had established an organized terror network in Sindh during 2011. He can speak Arabic language fluently. Besides funding terrorists, he used to facilitate al-Qaeda militants belonging to Arab countries. He, later, joined the IS and his wife also runs IS women wing in Sindh.

More high value arrests are also expected upon the information provided by Umar Kathiwer.
