The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Monday foiled a major terror bid and arrested at least six suspected terrorists in Bannu.
According to CDT sources, the accused were planning a terrorist act in an under-construction house in the city. Acting on a tip-off, the house was raided by the CTD.
A huge cache of arms and ammunition was also recovered from the arrested terrorists.
A case was registered against the terrorists under Anti-Terrorism Act, who were shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogation.
