Cyber Crime Wing of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Saturday lodged the first case of 2016 and arrested an accused from Lahore.
According to Assistant Director FIA Asif Iqbal, hacker Muhammad Naeem was involved in blackmailing people after obtaining their photos from their Facebook accounts. The Cyber Crime Wing apprehended the hacker and registered a case against him.
The FIA has declared 2016 as the year of elimination of social media crime.
