Capital Development Authority (CDA), in its ongoing operation against non-confirmation use of residential buildings, sealed several houses in different sectors of the federal capital on Friday.
During the operation Building Control, Enforcement Directorate and Magistrate of the CDA sealed house No.3, street no.36 in sector F-6/1. A portion of this house was used as warehouse and showroom. In the same street of this sector, house 44 was used as bakery, which was also sealed by the CDA teams.
A gym was established in house no.250 of street no.23 in sector E-7 but on the occasion, it was confirmed that the gym is being shifted voluntarily to Markaz F-6, while house no.122, street no.11, sector e-7 was sealed as its basement was used for beauty parlour purpose. House no.198, street no.70, sector f-10/3 was used as warehouse, which was sealed.
To discourage commercial activities in the residential areas, 74 houses have been sealed by CDA up to date.
Meanwhile, operation against the encroachments in different areas of the city is in progress. Anti-encroachment teams of enforcement directorate have removed encroachments from Markaz G-9 (Karachi Company) and confiscated 11 fully loaded trucks.
