Capital Development Authority (CDA) would re-launch an advanced and fully remodelled Japanese Play Land (Park) on 31 December.
The facility was up-graded, revamped and remodelled with the generous support and assistance of Japan. H.E Mr. Hiroshi Inomata, ambassador of Japan to Pakistan, will be the chief guest of inaugural ceremony.
Japanese Play Land was developed in 1985 with the assistance of Japanese government as a special gift for the children of the Federal Capital. The play land was popular for its Japanese theme but due to continuous use for over 30 years, the park lost its popularity due to damaged gadgets and dilapidated condition of allied facility.
The installation of 32 new gadgets has been completed and is being re-opened with better and added facilities. Moreover, proper lightening and night patrolling has been ensured for the safety of the equipments.
