Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is scheduled to visit Balochistan today (Wednesday) to inaugurate a part of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Project, which will pass from Village Samizai Mandazai in the Zhob district, Balochistan.

The inauguration function has been arranged in Samizai Mandazai. The area is situated at N-50 (Quetta to Dera Ismail Khan Road). It is expected that the prime minister, besides inaugurating this portion of CPEC, will also announce a developmental package for the people of the area. He will lay the foundation stone of the Mughal Kot carriageway that lies in CPEC’s western alignment.

Meanwhile, welcoming the prime minister’s visit to the area, Punjab Bar Council former secretary and Islamabad High Court Bar Association Malik Muhammad Hashim Khan Mandokhail advocate along with Malik Haji Ahmad Din Khan Mandokhail, Malik Muhammad Safar Mandokhail, Engineer Malik Muhammad Saleem Khan Mandokhail and Surgeon Dr Karim Kham Mandokhail said in a statement on Tuesday that the Mandokhail tribe will extend their complete  support and cooperation to the federal government in every positive step that is taken for the development of the area.

They also urged the prime minister to direct the FIA, NADRA and other concerned authorities of the federal as well as provincial government to declare illegal immigrants as aliens, and deport Afghan nationals. They said that such people had come to Pakistan with the connivance of some officials of the local administrations in Balochistan, particularly the revenue department of the Zhob district. They had managed to get residential certificates and Pakistani Computerised National Identity Cards and had become Pakistani nationals.

They said various inquiries against them were pending before the FIA, whereas NADRA has declared their residential certificates and National Identity Cards invalid, and said that they were fake. They said these illegal immigrants had criminal records and could pose a big threat not only to Balochistan but also to the entire country. They said these aliens were multiplying with each passing day.
