No possibility of ‘governor rule’ in Sindh: Sanaullah

Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said on Saturday that the issue of Rangers’ power which led to a dispute between the federal and Sindh governments has almost been resolved and there was no possibility of “Governor’s rule” in Sindh.

Talking to media persons after observing the Mega Project Expressway in Faisalabad, Sanaullah said that all national institutions should work within their jurisdiction. He said that the completion of the Rs30 billion project would change the fate of people of the district and start a new era of development and progress.

He said that short visit of Indian Premier Narendra Modi revealed his personal relations with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and it would pave the way for resolution of bilateral disputes including the longstanding Kashmir issue.

The minister congratulated Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Jahangir Khan Tareen for his success in the NA-154 Lodhran by-election and declared the success an outcome of good performance of the winning party. He said that rigging allegations should not be levelled against his party as the PML-N succeeded due to its performance and success.

Sanaullah said that electricity and gas load shedding would end by 2017. He further said that the issue of Saeed Ajmal cricket academy would also be resolved soon.
