Oprah defines larger than life — everything she does is big and spectacular and the same can be said about her latest purchase: a $14 million mansion in Colorado.
Variety reports, the TV mogul recently bought an 8,706 square feet ski chalet in Telluride, Colorado. The fully furnished mansion boasts an impressive 5 bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms, a Finnish-style spa, heated driveway and a home automation system that can be operated from anywhere in the world.
It also includes a wine mine. “Instead of a regular ol’ wine cellar like every other rich person has, the seller opted for a Disney-esque wine tunnel elaborately decked out like an authentic mining shaft complete with rugged wood beams, lantern light fixtures, and a sound system that pipes in the sounds of creaking timber and dripping water,” states Variety.
