Christian prisoners are allowed to perform their religious events and prayer said Saeed ullah Gondal. Saeed Ullah Gondel, Superintendent Central Jail, Adyala, on the occasion of the cake cutting ceremony in the jail.
He said that jail administration has fully permitted Christian prisoners to perform their religious obligations. Especially on Christmas and Easter, they celebrate it with full zeal according to their religion. He said that as head the institution I personally visit them and share their joys.
Though it is tough time in the jail and we have to keep in mind our jail manual but we facilitate them to maximum. Safdar Chuadhry, chairman Rah-e-Nijat Ministry thanked the jail superintendent for his kind behaviour towards the prisoners from religious minorities. He said Rah-e-Nijat Ministry provides assistance to the prisoners and their families. On this special occasion we have shared our joys with our Christian brothers in the jail. Rah-e-Nijat Ministry provide food packages and Christmas cakes to the prisoners.
