A power loom worker reportedly poisoned his wife and four children in Sharifpura area of Multan on late Wednesday night and then ended his own life by hanging himself from a ceiling fan.
According to details, the loom worker, identified as Ashfaq, poisoned to death his wife Nasim Bibi, 12-year-old son Ans, 10-year-old daughter Aisha, 7-year-old Aliza and 2-year-old Iman and then committed suicide.
Police reached the spot and shifted the dead bodies to Nishtar Hospital for autopsy in order to ascertain cause of death of the deceased.
