After the head-office of the national flag carrier remained closed due to employees’ protest, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Chairman Nasser Jaffer said on Monday he would resign if the head office was closed again by the strikers.

Jaffer made it clear that he would tender his resignation but would not accept the Illogical demands of the striking employees.

Employees’ protest had thwarted Monday’s meeting of the board of directors of the newly-formed Pakistan International Airline Company Limited (PIACL) at the head-office.

  1. After a long time (since Arif Abbasi), a man of conviction has come to head the Organization sustaining monthly losses in billions. Authorities should help him before the situation is out of control.
