Two death row convicts were hanged in the Central Jail Sahiwal early Saturday morning while execution of a death row prisoner in Vehari was postponed.
Two death row convicts were hanged in the Central Jail Sahiwal. Prisoner Zahoor Ahmad was executed for killing a man named Muhammad Ameen in 2002 over an old enmity while death row prisoner Makhdum was hanged for murdering a man named Irfan during a robbery attempt.
Meanwhile, execution of death row convict Safdar was postponed in Vehari when mother of the victim pardoned him.
