For the third time this month, cellphone services were temporarily suspended today in parts of Islamabad before Friday prayers at noon.
According to media, Lal Masjid administration had called for a protest after Friday prayers due to which security agencies were on high alert. The Interior Ministry, therefore, told the PTA to direct cellphone service providers to suspend services. The services were rescheduled to resume between 2:30pm-3pm, according to a PTA official and the CSR.
