Justice Sajjad Ali Shah takes over as  CJ SHC; Three Judges join SC

Justice Sajjad Ali Shah took oath as Chief Justice of Sindh High Court at a ceremony in Karachi on Monday. Sindh Governor Dr. Ishratul Ibad administered the oath.

The oath-taking ceremony was attended by judges, lawyers, DG Rangers Major General Bilal Akbar, IG Sindh Ghulam Haider Jamali and other senior officials.

Meanwhile, former chief justice of Sindh High Court, Justice Faisal Arab has been sworn-in as a permanent judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

Two other judges including Justice (retd) Khilji Arif Hussain and Justice (retd) Tariq Pervez also took oath as Supreme Court’s ad hoc judges.

Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Mr. Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali administered the oath.

The oath-taking ceremony was attended by the SC judges, Attorney General Salman Butt, Advocate General, lawyers and other officials.
