Eight hurt in Karachi firing and road mishap

At least eight people including a woman were injured in armed clash over old enmity and a road accident on Sunday.

Police said that armed men of two groups, having an old rivalry, traded fire in which five people including a woman were injured in the area of 24-Market of Baldia Town in the Karachi. The wounded people identified as Ibrar, Arif, Waseem, Riaz and Shehnaz were shifted to a hospital for treatment. The police registered a case into the incident and arrested one accused Alam while raids were being conducted to arrest other accused.

As many as three people were injured when an over-speeding private car turned turtle in Schon Circle area of Karachi. The injured were taken to a hospital for treatment and according to hospital sources their condition was stable.
