A shopkeeper was killed in a firing incident within the Sadiqabad Police jurisdiction.
According to police, three unknown men on motorcycles opened fire on a shop on Quaid-e-Azam road. The shopkeeper sustained serious injuries and breathed his last on the spot. The assailants escaped the scene, leaving the shopkeeper in the shop. The shopkeeper was identified as Saqib Qureshi, 28.
The police shifted the body to Benazir Bhutto hospital for medico-legal formalities. Police have registered a case and started investigation.
