PML-N central leader and MNA Hamza Shehbaz has said that by giving decision in favour of progress and prosperity in the recent local bodies election, the masses have proved that they are not interested in politics of sit-ins and protest.
He said that elements which wasted 126 days of the nation still have an opportunity to learn from their mistakes and support positive agenda. Hamza said that the result of elections in NA-154 Lodhran on December 23 will not be different from other by-elections and the victory will second the vision of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to make Pakistan a developed country in the real sense.
He was talking to the media at the joining of PML-N by various leaders of Tehrik-i-Insaf from Lodhran.
Hamza said Pakistan is a nuclear power and the country of 180 million people. He said, “We want to negotiate with India at equal level.” In reply to a question, he said the nation asks Imran Khan why he travels by an aircraft of a person who got bank loan worth millions of rupees written off during Musharrafs’ era. He said that nomination of persons like Alim Khan and Jehangir Tareen in by-elections by those who claim to make new Pakistan is not understandable.
Hamza spent a busy day in connection with by-election in Lodhran and held meetings with delegations of notables of area, traders, industrialists and farmers at the residence of district President Amin Tahir Ghauri and Salman Mangla.
They announced to take an active part in the election campaign of PML-N for by-election on December 23. MNA Hafiz Abdul Karim also met Hamza Shehbaz and announced full support in by-election in NA-154. Senator Saud Majeed, MNA Abdul Rehman Kanju, PML-N candidate from NA-154 Muhammad Siddique Khan Baloch, former candidate from PP-210 Rana Muhammad Aslam and a large number of party leaders were present on this occasion.
