Accountability Court (AC) Rawalpindi has adjourned the hearing of illegal assets reference against former President Asif Ali Zardari till 15 December due to non presence of defence counsel.
Judge Khalid Mehmood Ranjha of AC Rawalpindi took up the case for hearing Wednesday.
Farooq H Naik counsel for Zardari did not appear before the court and his assistant Arshid Tabrez advocate attended the court. Therefore, the statement of lady witness Madian Munawarra could not be recorded.
The court while summoning Muhammad Ashraf, ASI of Rawal Police on next hearing to file the report on declaring important witness of this case Ahmad Javed Mirza as proclaimed offender.
