At least seven people were killed while scores of others injured in separate fog-related and other road accidents in various districts of Punjab on Monday.
Police said that on MM Road of Mianwali, a car collided with a sugarcane-laden trolley due to poor visibility caused by foggy weather. All the four motorists died on the spot in the accident.
In another accident, at least five people were injured when more than 10 vehicles rammed into each other at Motorway near Sheikhupura due to foggy weather.
A passenger died while 10 others including four women were wounded in collision between car and tractor trolley on Multan Road in Phoolnagar.
In Musa Wirk area of Mian Channu on GT Road, a man was killed while another injured when a tractor trolley hit a motorcycle-rickshaw. Six students were injured when an auto-rickshaw carrying students overturned at Aathwan Meel in Sahiwal.
The bodies and the injured of all incidents were shifted to different hospitals of respective areas for medico-legal formalities.
