Opposition leader in the National Assembly, Syed Khursheed Shah said on Sunday said actual authority did not lie with Rangers but it lies with the law.
“The decision on granting extension to Sindh Rangers will be made by Chief Minister Sindh,” he said while talking to media persons at a Chehlum and Fateha Khawani programme for the deceased Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Makhdoom Amin Faheem.
PPP Chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and other central leaders of the party were also in attendance. Khursheed Shah said the party would decide on giving a ticket for National Assembly seat to the family of Makhdoom Amin Faheem. He said the Pakistan Muslim League-N had emerged as number one party in the Punjab and PPP as a runner up. The opposition leader asserted that no one’s act should affect the ongoing Operation Zarb-e-Azb.
