The Multan bench of Lahore High Court Thursday rejected the nomination papers of the PML-N candidate for NA-154 Lodhran, Saddique Baloch.
Ifat Tahira Soomro, an independent candidate had challenged the acceptance of the nomination papers of the PML-N candidate in the court.
The petitioner informed the court that election symbol loin had already been allotted to Umair Baloch, the son of Siddique so he could not be allotted the same symbol for contesting by-elections.
The court accepted the appeal and dismissed nomination papers of the PML-N candidate.
