They will have Vietnam-like flashbacks, the way US veterans have. Charlie was everywhere…
Yes, dear readers, there was a war in Lahore this week. A war waged because of something more sacred than the trifles that wars have generally been fought over, through the ages.
Not religion, not ethnicity, not land, not the commercial interests of nations. No.
It was a war fought on clothes. The new collection over at Sapphire.
Videos abound of women clawing at each other, pinning each other down, kicking and screaming, all trying to get the choice clothes.
And these seemed like well-to-do women. Well-educated as well.
So, there are no class-based sympathies for when the poor fight over rations and doles. Nothing of the sort. Have absolutely no guilt whatsoever while enjoying the video.

So it appears that three Pakistani television channels, no less, were chasing after Reham Khan to ask her to start a programme with them.
She is rumoured to have decided upon one at a very hefty salary.
Her programmes on Aaj and Dawn News were okay, but no great shakes. So one doesn’t know whether the channel is going to make money off this investment. But her new status is certainly going to pull in some viewers, at least initially.
One of her guests at her post-marriage show on Dawn News was her then husband Imran Khan. Perhaps he could be her first guest in the new show?
