The Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) held its special meeting under the Chairmanship of Dr. Hammad Uwais Agha Additional Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday. The meeting was attended by its members, Syed Zafar Ali Shah Secretary P&D Department and respective administrative secretaries. The forum considered four projects pertaining to Energy & Power and Industries departments for the uplift of the province. The forum approved 3 projects with an estimated cost of Rs. 35,442.755 million.
The approved projects of Energy & Power sector were “Construction of Koto HPP (40.8 MW)(10% ADP (Local) & 90% (Rs. 7933.170 m) HDF), Development of Renewable Energy in KPK(REDSIP), Construction of 356 Mini/Micro Hydro Power stations in KPK (Total capacity 35.6 MW).
