A protest demonstration was staged on Sunday against the metro bus project.
The protesters alleged that no flyovers and service roads have been constructed along the track which will put city’s traffic in trouble.
The protesters raised slogans against the project and broke its fences at Madni Chowk.
They said roads along the track had not been widened and citizens would have to face troubles while driving on the road.
The protesters demanded removal of the project from Madni Chowk and burnt tyres. However, the Assistance Commissioner (AC) Multan assured them of resolving the issue after which the protesters dispersed.
