The Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) Thursday foiled a bid to smuggle heroin to Europe by arresting a passenger at Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore.
According to ANF sources, passenger named Asghar Sadiq hailing from Gujrat came at the airport for going to Europe through a private airline. The ANF personnel recovered at least 70 heroin filled capsules from his possession during his search.
A case was registered against the accused. Further investigations are underway.
