Former Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) president Asma Jahangir has said that lawyers and judges should also be held accountable for misconduct.
“The entire legal fraternity gets maligned owing to negative attitude of some lawyers. It is a must that such lawyers should also be held accountable besides judges,” she said while talking to the media here on Wednesday.
She said that judges of high court can perform their function as long as allegations are not proved against them. The judges who do not work were causing losses to the country,” she added.
