At least 13 people were injured as armed men of two groups traded fire over property dispute here on Tuesday.
Police said that armed members of two groups hailing from Basti Muhammad Khan of Bhakkar who were in enmity over ownership of piece of a land exchanged firing. Resultantly, 13 people belonging to both groups suffered injuries.
Tension gripped the area due to heavy firing and local population remained restricted to their homes. A heavy contingent of police reached the scene, brought the situation under control and shifted the injured to DHQ Bhakkar where according to hospital sources condition of some wounded people was serious.
The police after registering a case against armed men of both groups started raids for their arrests.
