The Sindh Rangers carried out an operation in Fareed Colony area of Karachi and arrested an alleged target-killer of the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
According to a Rangers spokesman, the suspect Syed Noor is also affiliated with a political party. During investigation the accused confessed to his involvement in several incidents of target killing including the murders of multiple policemen, said the spokesman. The suspect was also involved in crimes of extortion and kidnapping for ransom, he added.
The suspect was presented in an anti-terrorism court which remanded him into Rangers’ custody for 90 days.
