Big signboards along Murree road security risk for Metro route

District Govt has declared the gigantic sign boards hung up along Murree road a security risk for the metro route.

The authorities have therefore cancelled all the earlier contracts and decided to react so that the sign boards are installed in a way that they do not pose any threat to the route and the commuters.

According to informed sources a report was sent to Punjab Govt by intelligence agencies in which it was pointed out that the sign boards displayed along Murree road may be used for terrorist activities and it suggested to quickly preventing any untoward incident.

On the advice of Provincial Govt the District Govt has decided to re-auction the sign board’s contracts. At the same time full information would be gathered about the contractors of the gigantic sign boards held along metro track. Permission shall not be granted to set up any sign board except the size approved by the government.
