A mother and her son have been killed by a speeding van while they were crossing a road within Ramna police jurisdiction.
Sameera, 35, and her son, Kashif, residents of Sector-G-13, were crossing the Kashmir Highway, when the van (VF184) ploughed into them and fatally injured them while the driver fled the scene. The victims were rushed to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) where doctors pronounced them dead on arrival. The police have registered a case against the driver and started investigation.
