Academy Award winning filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid has charmed her way into legendary Hollywood actress Meryl Streep’s heart with songs from her short documentary, Song of Lahore.
The three time Academy Award winning actress was seen swaying to the music performed live by Sachal Music, following the screening of Sharmeen’s documentary in New York. The soulful music was the perfect mellow ending to the film’s premiere:
And everyone was won over by the band’s performance.
The premiere was hosted by Meryl in a star-studded opening.
